Mission
The mission of the Mental Health Coordinated Community Response (MHCCR) team is to support access and options to mental health services, person-centered education, and awareness for all in Douglas County. We do this through our collaborative mental health providers and advocates.
Vision
The Mental Health Coordinated Community Response (MHCCR) team will be known as a unified voice for coordinated, committed, collaborative, and caring mental health services for Douglas County residents, striving to be a leader of person-centered mental health services.
Prioritites
Increase Awareness: Educate and bring awareness to broad audiences about mental health issues.
Support Training: Coordinate and/or provide trainings for mental health providers, families, community members and associated professionals.
Improve Access: Champion access to meet the needs of all individuals, regardless of their circumstances or income.
Enhance Options: Advocate for the specialized services and providers needed for all people, and their familites, affected by mental illness.
